  I rarely leave reviews but feel like everytime I speak with receptionist/ have an appointment, there is a problem. (I do not often need to visit the surgery which makes it more frustrating). I phoned to make an appointment and was informed that I was not registered at this surgery. After a discussion with the practice manager I was informed that as I had not responded to 3 letters from the surgery, I had been deducted and needed to re-register. (I had moved house and had not informed the surgery so I accept that was my error). Practice manager advised I could register with my driving licence however when I bought this in to the surgery it was rejected as they no longer accept driving licence as a form of I.D. The practice manager apologised for giving me misinformation. Another occasion: I was asked to phone the surgery.. Receptionist said that I needed to register my newborn prior to the appointment that I had for her immunisations/ newborn check. I informed her that I had registered her (How did I have an appointment if I had not registered her!) when the receptionist realised that I had registered her the week before she apologised. Another occasion: Receptionist booked me in for an appointment for a post natal check with GP and baby immunisation with nurse on the same morning. Saw nurse first who informed me I had to have the GP appointment for the newborn baby check before my baby could be immunised. (If that was so then why didn't the receptionist book me in with the GP prior to seeing the nurse) Waited 40 minutes to see the GP as he was running late. I did not mind so much as he is in my experience, the best Dr in the surgery. Always kind and helpful, I consider myself lucky if I get to see him. The nurse then said she needed to reschedule my baby's immunisation appointment until the following week (when she will be 9.5 weeks old) as she was very busy with other patients and said she needed to fit in her tea break. This was said to me in the waiting area, followed by her saying 'don't get stressed'. I said I was not stressed but annoyed. My baby and myself had been calm and patient so I do not understand why she would say 'stressed'. This comment was not called for and is the reason why I have left a review today with my other experiences. Another occasion: I had a message to phone the surgery. Spoke with a Dr who advised that one of my recent tests had come back abnormal. I was expecting this to be my blood test as had been informed by my midwife that I had a raised white cell count a couple of weeks before. GP said he had not received any recent blood test results but said there was a urine specimen result which must have been the reason for the call. On checking the urine specimen result he said it was normal and said he did not know why I had received a message to contact the surgery R.E results. On another occasion: I saw a GP about a mole which had got bigger and darker and he asked me why I was so concerned about it in a way which made me feel like I had just wasted his time. It takes so long to get through on the phone. Please could there be something on the phone to tell the caller what number they are in the queue. I do not regularly need appointments however on the occasions I have there has almost always a problem. There is one Dr who goes out of his way to be helpful and gives you his full attention. I hope he stays so I won't need to register at a different surgery. Today I spoke to him about the mole/keratosis area (which I had previously spoke to another GP about at this surgery) and he gave me the name of a surgeon who could remove it for me which was most appreciated.
